This is a watercolor on Arches watercolor paper. Serene Pool was created with a combination of traditional watercolor and watercolor dyes, and is based on a photo I took while hiking through Arizona canyons. I never expected to see water, let alone large pools of it surrounded by beautiful rocks. Framed with Cream outer /gold inner mat in a carved goldtone frame.
